It's not a track superstar, and asking $3000 more to kit on it to make it more of a racer is counter to the bike's purpose.

Interestingly enough, many of the newer Ducatis have 15k mile service intervals, so that might be something to consider too. 848 streetfighter has a newer engine, wet clutch and 12k mile service interval. The big brother Streetfghter had a 7500 mile service interval. Well then, I stand corrected.

Buy a Bonnie instead. The Street Triple, as a commuter bike in Athens, will burn your bum for most of the year.
